It’s always a good idea to go to networking events…but turning up is only the beginning. It can sometimes be difficult to know exactly what to do once you’re there, so here are a few ideas to help you make the most of every networking event.
Compared to many other industries, marketing is relatively new. Of course, it’s always existed to a certain extent – as long as people have had goods to sell, they’ve found ways to market them. However as an industry, it arguably only really developed in more recent times, having emerged as a discipline in the early 1900s.

Sometimes, despite your best efforts, you hire someone who seems like a good fit only to find out that they don’t suit the role after all.
